Collecting every Star Core in Fallout 4 Nuka-World DLC is essential for unlocking the Quantum X-01 Power Armor inside the Starport Nuka mainframe. While many players naturally search inside the Galactic Zone, five specific Star Cores are hidden in other sectors across the park map. Finding these external components allows you to complete the collection process without getting stuck short of the 35 required items.
Nuka-Town USA and Market Locations
The first Star Core outside the main zone resides inside the Nuka-Town Market area. Head toward the market tables and check the vendor stalls, specifically near the display counters where merchandise is laid out. Grabbing this early saves time later when tracking down missing mainframe components across the park.
Another core is located nearby inside Doc Phosphate's Saloon within Dry Rock Gulch. Check the employee counter areas and behind the bar setup to secure the item. Following updates in daily gaming news often reveals helpful community tips for navigating complex open-world collectible quests.
World of Refreshment and Mortar Plants
Heading into the World of Refreshment river ride area reveals another hidden Star Core. Search the control room near the central water processing machinery to find the console housing the component. Make sure to clear out local creature threats before interacting with the terminal system.
You can discover another component near the Junkyard area located southwest of the main park attractions. Look for the main barn structure filled with scrap metal and old machinery parts. The core rests on a control desk situated near an active mainframe terminal on the upper level.
Dry Rock Gulch and Employee Barn Cores
Within the outer perimeter of Dry Rock Gulch, players can spot an extra core located near the theater seating setup. Search around the projection booth and nearby maintenance tables to retrieve the unit safely. Paying close attention to small container benches helps prevent missing subtle spawns.
The final external Star Core is found near the Nuka-World Power Plant area outside the main gates. Check the control room desk situated right beside the central power distribution terminal system. Obtaining this final piece completes your external search, allowing you to finish repair efforts back at Starport Nuka.
