Horowitz explains that his partner, a medic named Wells, has been separated from him beyond a sealed threshold. To reach the missing ranger, Jesse must first figure out a way through the nearby Oceanview Motel.
Traversing the Oceanview Motel Clock Puzzle
Entering the yellow doorway leads Jesse directly into the mysterious Oceanview Motel realm. Progressing through this space requires solving a puzzle centered around matching clock times across guest rooms.
Check the time displayed on the front desk clock before attempting to adjust the clocks in the rooms. Setting each clock face to align with the reception clock unlocks the final door, granting access back into the FBC facility.
Locating and Escorting Medic Wells
Once through the motel, you will arrive at a new area where Medic Wells is taking shelter. Speak with Wells to update your quest log and prepare for the return trek.
You must now escort Wells safely back toward the Control Point where Horowitz is waiting. Keep your service weapon ready and utilize Launch abilities to defend the medic from incoming Hiss ambushes.
Defeating Hiss-Corrupted Horowitz and Wrapping Up
Upon returning to the Control Point, you will find that Horowitz has succumbed to the Hiss corruption. A battle immediately begins against the corrupted soldier, requiring swift movement and heavy fire to neutralize the threat.
Utilize surrounding pillars for cover while dealing damage to Horowitz until he is defeated. After the battle, speak with Wells to finalize the mission and claim your ability points and crafting rewards.
